Benang Kelambu & Stokel Waterfalls
Spring water cascading like sheer curtains through lush cliff foliage on Rinjani's slope
About This Destination
Nestled on the southwestern slopes of Mount Rinjani in Central Lombok, Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel are among Indonesia's most unusual and magical waterfalls. While Benang Stokel features dramatic twin chutes tumbling down a 30-meter sheer rock face, Benang Kelambu looks like a fairytale: pure mountain spring water emerges directly from forest cliffs and drapes down tiers of leafy climbing vines like a lace mosquito net ("kelambu").
